Bushy, Thomas L.
Thomas L. Bushy, master mariner and coauthor of Marine Radionavigation and Communciations, is associate vice president for external affairs and marine operations at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and master of the training ship Enterprise. He has served as professor of marine transportation and is a senior instructor at the Center for Maritime Training, both at the academy.
Bushy graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. His professional experience afloat includes all officer positions on tankers, freighters, and research and training vessels. He holds a professional license as master, steam and motor vessels, unlimited tonnage, any oceans radar observer and GMDSS operator.
