Farnsworth, B. A.
B. A. Farnsworth graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1971 with a BS degree in marine transportation, and served as a Coast Guard marine inspector for four years. From 1975 to 1990, he worked in the Coast Guard licensing program. He presently pastors an independent Baptist Church in Oklahoma and works for the Federal Aviation Administration's Civil Aviation Registry in Oklahoma City as the information systems manager in the Airmen Certification Branch. Mr. Farnsworth is the coauthor of Nautical Rules of the Road, Third Edition.
