Grant, Bruce
Bruce Grant (1893–1977) was born in Texas and came by his interest in leather braiding as a natural outgrowth of his association with cowboys on the ranches near his home. Leather braiding was a major part of his life and occupied most of his spare time.
As a newspaperman, Grant traveled much of the world and never overlooked an opportunity to uncover examples of leather braiding. He collected all existing literature on leather braiding and searched through the classics for references to this ancient art.
