Harvey Hagman, author of Majesty from Assateague, and former resident of Chincoteague, is a retired journalist who lives with his wife, Kathryn LaCombe, on San Carlos Island at Fort Myers Beach, Florida. He is a freelance adventure travel writer, whose stories have appeared in the Washington Times, the Daily Times of Salisbury, Maryland, the Minneapolis Star and Tribune, the St. Paul Pioneer Press, and the News American in Baltimore, Maryland.
