Huber, Mark
Mark Huber is a graduate of the State University of New York Maritime College at Fort Schuyler, Bronx, New York. He received a master's degree in environmental studies from Long Island University. He has worked extensively in the tanker industry in a seagoing capacity with Gulf Oil Corporation, Military Sealift Command, and Keystone Shipping Company, and as a consultant to tanker companies and legal firms. He holds an unlimited master's license and is endorsed as a Tankerman PIC (DL) Dangerous Liquids. A member of the Nautical Institute, Huber is currently a professor in the Department of Marine Transportation at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. In addition, he is the author of Tanker Operations: A Handbook for the Person-in-Charge (PIC), Fourth Edition.
