Backup Exec 2010 Cannot Eject Tape
This is a fault in the logic of BENT. If even then the tape not coming out then that is surely a hardware error and you need to check with the hardware vendor for the same. Since "upgrading" to backup exec 12.5 I have had no end of failed backups and frustrations. Otherwise, no problems adding this feature for any tape drive that supports this command. The only workaround I have found is to restart the Backup Exec services and then it spits the tape out while the services are restarting.
