Just so you know... I switched over but even after rebooting no group messages are being received. this contact form
I got my Priv on launch day on AT&T, noticed after a couple of weeks that picture MMS would always require a download then say "File Not Found" when you tried Will I have to take the battery out every time something doesn't seem to work right? I'm returning the phone and hoping a new one will work. permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]sigepsal[S] 0 points1 point2 points 11 months ago(0 children)It was probably something I changed in the phone, a setting or something. http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?articleNumber=000015700
Don't return the phone. Just so you know... If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices. Note: The BlackBerry smartphone must be provisioned for MMS services. For more information, contact the wireless service provider or administrator.

Select setting for automatic retrieval Scroll to Automatic Retrieval and press the Navigation key.Scroll to Always and press the Navigation key. Textra works because it's the only SMS app I can think of that uses its own API rather than android MMS API. It's not the carrier. The letters next to my signal strength are 1XEV and sometimes 1X.

DreamHost If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.
See here for some example settings - that guy did it for another phone, but it's Android as well, and configuration should be virtually the same for the Priv. I do not have an option to use SMS at all and the email system never worked. This requires that sending of delivery reports has been turned on by the recipient. navigate here I'm not sure if AT&T and others do the same, but even if not, just googling "[phone provider] apn settings" will generally get you what you need.
