You want teh router "switch" to pass traffic to/from the printer, but not make it available to the outside world. I wonder what I could do next in order to troubleshoot the problem. I also have my Brother MFC 7820N connected via ethernet cable to the wireless router to serve as a network printer. We have a network printer HP LaserJet M4345 MFP. weblink
