My operating system is Windows Server 2003 SP1 with IIS. if so, make a exclude path of your site and you may get rid of this 404 message. I did the usual stuff, I installed .NET 4 Framework, restarted the server, created a new application in IIS, running in its own Application Pool, and changed the ASP.NET version to Server Error In '/' Application. I've tried to put up a simple page with only a line of text and I get the same results. Even though I put the CSS in the same directory of the aspx it still won't work. The Resource Cannot Be Found. Mvc 4 I have a trial ASP help desk app running on it so at least I know the ASP pages load properly. Mvc The Resource Cannot Be Found 404 And not only the test application that printed today's date, but even my ASP.NET MVC application!
