just encountered the same problem after I installed the VSTS Beta2 VPC and applied this VPC to Windows 2003 Server SP1. I had this issue today because .NET had not been re-initialized after installing IIS (aspnet_regiis -i -enable or equivalent). Not the answer you're looking for? All rights reserved.

Once again thanks. Iis7 Aspx Pages Not Working amazing how google beats tech support :)One thing I didnt find on my issue was my netframe 1.1 was not giving me aspx in my iis manager...
