Manchester City winger Bernardo Silva has revealed that the main goal for his country at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is to win a trophy.
Portugal are in Group H along with Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea, with their first match in the group stage against Ghana on November 24.
“Of course I think about it,” Bernardo told FIFA.
“It is every child’s dream. Winning the World Cup, the biggest competition in football, is obviously a dream we all share.”
“I think that’s the best approach. No matter what championship Whether in your club or in your national team, we will fight one game at a time.” The UFABET report
On 20 August 2003 Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut for Portugal, and he never looked back. Alongside him in that friendly against Kazakhstan were players such as Luis Figo, Rui Costa and Deco, all of whom the boy from Madeira would leave in the shade to become the greatest ever footballer for his country.
Almost 20 years have gone by since that summer day, and Ronaldo remains unwaveringly the team’s star man.
“Our main objective is to win titles but we have to go game by game, focus on the next training session, game, recovery, training again, next game and stuff like that. yes We can get to that point.”
The 2022 World Cup will be played between 20 November and 18 December.
